From Kis Dobó Square, turning along the stream, we can reach the Végvár Battlefield.
Culture also plays a role here, with a multitude of baroque houses and the Eger Castle smiling at us in the background.
The statue of the Végvár Battlefield reminds us of the siege of 1552. You can see that a Hungarian warrior is fighting against two Turks, which is why the designer wanted to depict that the enemy camp is much larger, the Turks are in excess.
What is going on here?
However, what is special about this space is none other than the terraced resting place built next to the Eger stream. You can hear the babbling of the stream from very close by, you can sit down next to it and admire the ducks swimming by or the mandarin ducks that sometimes appear.
It is also a favorite meeting place for families, as the mini playground on the square is also good for the little ones. It serves as a time-saver.
